Bobby Moore spent two years working as the head of sales and marketing for a software startup, Top Dog Solutions Inc. after he earned a BA in Psychology from Gettysburg College. Bobby led the entire sales and marketing efforts, encompassing client acquisition, revenue management, partner development, and brand strategy. He helped grow the company and signed close to 20 big clients. The experience at Top Dog led Bobby to return to school to pursue an MBA concentrating in Marketing and Finance. During the 2011 summer, Bobby interned at Affect Inc., a public relations and marketing agency that specializes in social media development for B2B Tech companies. He worked on the business development side with the partners of the firm to target new customer channels and create a short term client acquisition strategy.

Ying Jiang, the Vice President of Full Time Students, is a full time MBA student concentrating in Marketing. Ying has engaged in providing full support to student clubs on event planning and promoting in Fordham GBA community. Ying aspires to provide better alumni involvement to clubs and an improved platform for external communications among clubs, while addressing the most pressing needs of the student body. Based on her 23 years of living experience in China, Ying has been recognized for her commitment in reducing the gap between international students and American students. She believes that the best way to improve the national ranking of Fordham MBA program is to find out the needs of the student body as well as improving the community service. Although not mentioned above, satisfying the different requirements of full time students, part time students, international students and domestic students, are essential to achieve all goals of the Student Advisory Council.

Eugene Marini graduated from the University of California San Diego in 2006 with a BA in Communications. After graduation, he pursued a career in commercial real estate as an associate in the brokerage services division of Cushman & Wakefield. His duties as a broker enabled him to play various roles on different teams in the brokerage services division. Eugene’s desire to be Vice President of Part Time Students stems from his strong belief that the Fordham student body has a responsibility to leave the school better than when it arrived. Eugene understands that to be an effective Vice President, one must be a strong communicator, leader and team player. His previous professional and extracurricular experiences have given him the tools to perform these tasks associated with the Vice Presidency at the highest level. Eugene’s goal is to better connect the part time and Executive MBA students with student life and to promote community initiatives within GBA.

Deborah Benjamin Bhonkar worked for two years at “The Times of India” (India’s leading media company) in the International Media Representation Department as a Media and Marketing Officer and had a short stint at Larsen & Toubro Infotech Limited as a Business Development Executive in SAP. She has been working as a Graduate Assistant to Dean Stuart J. Lipper since fall, 2010 and has observed him promote the school at different levels. She believes that she can help the University in this capacity while working with everyone within the system. She has been on campus and in the GBA office long enough to be well acquainted with people, students, and the faculty from school. She would like to facilitate an environment where alumni and students get together on a regular basis, not only helping each other, but promoting Fordham GBA.

Lonnie Kussin, Treasurer, will be entering his second year as a full-time student, concentrating in Finance and Accounting. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University in 2007. His prior work experience has included internships with the New York Jets Football Team and Major League Baseball Advanced Media in their accounting and finance department, and full-time work with the New York Islanders in their partnership marketing department, handling a large number of the team’s corporate sponsors. Lonnie has been a graduate assistant for Judy Paul and Laura Bassin in the Office of Career Management. His main duty as Treasurer includes handling the Student Advisory council budget for all GBA clubs. Through the SAC Whiteboard Campaign, his goal over the next year is to get students more involved with GBA through improving communication between the SAC board, the school, and students.
